Five Ways To Serve Protein Powder

Protein powder shake

Protein powder is something that many people shun because they believe they either don’t need it or because they think it tastes like chalk. Well, I’m here to tell you that neither of these is the case. In fact, protein powder can taste great – especially if you know how to use it.

The truth is, protein powders have come a long way from back in the day when they did tend to taste rather unpleasant.

Most didn’t blend all that well unless you used an electric mixer, and they had a rather unpalatable texture. Today, however, we’re seeing great-tasting protein powders come out onto the market weekly.

You can now find them in just about every flavor under the sun, including berry, iced tea, cookies and cream, and white chocolate. If you can dream it, there’s probably a protein powder in that flavor.

Even better, today’s protein powders are of better quality. They mix more easily, they have a lower carb and fat count, and they’re not made with as many fillers – provided you buy a higher-quality one, of course.

And they’re great for managing or preventing diabetes. As you know, getting enough protein into your diet plan is key for success, and a quality whey makes things easier.

Besides, protein powders are very time effective, so they’re ideal for busy people on the run. You can even get those that will work for vegetarians.

In other words, I highly recommend that you get protein powder into your day.

Now, all of this being said, if you’re someone who doesn’t want to slam back protein shake after protein shake, there are alternative options. Here are some of the best ways of using protein powder that don’t involve mixing it with water, shaking and drinking.

Stir protein powder into a bowl of oatmeal

It’ll make your breakfast meal more complete and also add flavor without having to add sugar.

On a lower-carb diet? No problem

Mix some protein powder in with some plain Greek yogurt for a supercharged, protein-rich snack at any point during the day.

Blend together some egg whites, oats, and a banana along with your protein powder. Now make a delicious pancake out of it.

Protein bites!

They’re simple, easy to prepare, and can be taken anywhere you’re going. Mix together protein powder, nut butter, raw oats, a little honey, and some dried fruit, nuts or dark chocolate pieces. Form into bite-sized balls and enjoy.

Protein cookies

If you want to get extra creative in the kitchen, look up one of the many different protein cookie recipes out there that are available online. You’ll be able to find one to cater to any dietary preferences.

So, as you can see, there are plenty of great ways to get protein powder into your daily diet. Are you missing out on any of these options?

I do like the way you have presented this particular difficulty plus it does indeed offer me a lot of fodder for thought. Nevertheless, through what I have experienced, I really trust as the actual comments pile on that folks remain on issue and in no way get started upon a tirade associated with the news du jour. Yet, thank you for this exceptional piece and although I can not go along with it in totality, I regard your perspective.
